JomReview Advertising Terms

1. Acceptance of Terms

By publishing an advertisement on JomReview, you agree to follow all platform rules, policies, and applicable Malaysian laws. You confirm that all content provided is accurate, truthful, and not misleading. JomReview reserves the right to review, approve, or reject any advertisement that does not meet our standards.

• All advertisements must comply with Malaysian Consumer Protection laws
• Content must be original or properly licensed for commercial use
• You warrant that you have the authority to represent the business advertised

2. Content Guidelines & Restrictions

Advertisements must maintain high standards of quality and integrity. The following types of content are strictly prohibited:

• False or misleading claims about products, services, or pricing
• Defamatory content targeting competitors or individuals
• Prohibited items as restricted by Malaysian regulations (tobacco, alcohol to minors, gambling, etc.)
• Inappropriate content including violence, hate speech, or discriminatory material
• Copyright infringement or unauthorized use of intellectual property

JomReview reserves the right to immediately remove any content that violates these policies without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban from the platform.

3. Billing, Payment & Cancellations

Advertisement costs are determined by the payment rates you set and the final agreement reached with content creators. Our billing system operates on the following principles:

• Flexible Pricing: You set your own budget range and payment per video
• Direct Negotiation: Final rates are agreed upon directly with selected creators
• Payment Terms: Payment is due upon confirmation of creator acceptance
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation terms vary by campaign stage and must be discussed during the order confirmation step
• Refund Policy: Refunds are subject to review and depend on campaign status and creator agreements

All transactions are processed securely through our platform. Detailed invoices will be provided for all payments.

4. Creator Agreements & Collaboration

Publishing an advertisement initiates a matchmaking process to connect you with suitable content creators. Key points to understand:

• Creator Selection: Creators apply to your ad based on their interest and availability
• Direct Communication: You communicate and negotiate directly with interested creators
• Commercial Terms: Payment rates, deliverables, and timelines are agreed between you and the creator
• Creator Independence: Creators are independent contractors, not JomReview employees
• Content Ownership: Ownership and usage rights of created content must be agreed upon with the creator
• Quality Standards: While we vet creators, final content quality is subject to your approval

JomReview facilitates connections but is not responsible for disputes arising from creator-advertiser agreements.

5. Advertisement Duration & Visibility

Your advertisement will be visible to content creators for the duration you select during creation. Campaign visibility depends on:

• Selected duration (7, 14, 30, 60, or 90 days)
• Budget competitiveness and payment rates offered
• Category relevance and location targeting
• Overall advertisement quality and clarity

You may request early termination or extension of campaigns by contacting our support team.

6. Platform Fees & Commission

JomReview charges a small service fee to maintain and improve the platform. This covers:

• Advertisement hosting and distribution
• Creator matchmaking and recommendation algorithms
• Secure payment processing
• Customer support and dispute resolution
• Platform maintenance and development

All fees will be clearly displayed before you confirm any transaction.

7. Liability & Disclaimers

While JomReview strives to provide the best possible service, please note:

• We do not guarantee specific results from advertisements
• Creator performance and content quality are subject to individual agreements
• JomReview is not liable for disputes between advertisers and creators
• You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws
• We are not responsible for third-party content or external links

8. Changes & Updates to Terms

JomReview may update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Material changes will be:

• Announced via email to all active advertisers
• Published prominently on this page with update dates
• Effective 30 days after notification for existing campaigns

Continued use of the platform after changes constitute acceptance of updated terms.
